Our child went to Ms Kokila's school for almost two years. When he started, he did not know how to hold a pencil for writing or trace any letters. Within a few short weeks, he was tracing letters. Over time, the notebooks he brought home were filled with tracing, letters, and eventually words and sentences. Ms Kokila very patiently taught him math concepts, science facts, grammar rules, phonics, and reasoning, all while supporting his social needs, providing opportunities for him to explore various cultures and holidays, and teaching him to clean up and be neat, organized, orderly. His kindergarten teacher at public school said he was the highest kindergartener she has had in 30 years of teaching. She said he is testing at above third-grade level in math and two years above grade level in reading - and this is all due to Ms Kokila's teaching and learning environment, supported by our family's efforts at home. There is no more apt title for her school than "Nurture" Montessori - your child will truly be nurtured, challenged, educated, and socialized in Ms Kokila's care. We always call her educational facility "school - not "daycare", because she truly teaches the children so much. Thank you, Ms Kokila!!
